Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a summer intern. As an intern with DRC Savills IM, you will work alongside our experienced real estate debt professionals and gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate finance industry. You will have exposure to all aspects of the analysis of real estate debt investments, including market research, financial modelling, and due diligence.
Role Responsibilities
Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify real estate debt investment opportunities
- Assist in underwriting and financial modelling of potential investments
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the team’s initiatives
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Person Specification
- Pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and partners
- Interest in a career in commercial real estate finance
- Availability to work full-time from July 3 – August 11, 2023
