We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic leader, to:
- Establish a strong network of partners, scaling up our reading and literacy alliances to create a significant impact.
- Champion the benefits of libraries, reading, and creativity, to meet the changing needs of our communities.
- Initiate, develop and embed a range of projects and programmesto increase engagement and participation in reading and libraries for all.
- Identify new income streams, developing funding bids and opportunities to diversify our wellbeing offer and increase the reach and impact of our services and programmes.
- Ensure our reading offer, services and spaces are inclusive and celebrate diversity.
The successful Reading Development Manager will have a proven ability to lead strategically and to inspire and motivate action in others, excellent digital skills and a track record of delivering impact for communities through projects, service development and partnerships.
