React Frontend Engineer

Zephr, a Zuora Company
Newly acquired by Zuora, Zephr's platform powers nearly eight billion requests a month and dynamic, personalized subscriber experiences. When combined with data from Zuora's Billing, Collect, and Revenue systems – the resulting solution will empower companies across industries to nurture and monetize their subscriber relationships by better understanding their behaviors, experimenting with the right digital offerings, and optimizing their digital experiences.
The Team & Role
The core purpose of this role is to contribute, implement and support Zuora's subscription experience platform, Zephr. You will contribute to the implementation of our frontend components and libraries whilst working with other parts of the business and vendors to determine functional requirements, collaborate on designs and iterate on technical solutions. You will help the team by taking part in code reviews, contributing to technical standards, and helping to implement best practice.
In this role you'll get to
In the role of React Frontend Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing features and bug fixes and regularly contributing to team sprints. You'll have the opportunity to work on features across our admin console, including our bespoke rules builder UI, and other UI components including our hosted client pages and dynamically configured forms. Your work will contribute to our user centric design philosophy and be the main touch point that our clients interact with daily when using our platform. This role will enable you to develop your frontend skills by offering a wide range of engineering challenges using industry best practices and tooling.
OUR TECH STACK: React, Svelte, REST, GraphQL
In this role you'll get to
- Develop and support large-scale applications in production environments
- Triage, isolate and fix frontend defects
- Contribute to frontend architecture design
- Work with other parts of the business, vendors, and sometimes customers to determine functional requirements, collaborate on designs and iterate on technical solutions
- Take part in code review, contribute to technical standards, help implement best practices and improve operational processes
What we're looking for
- React (17+)
- Modern JavaScript (ES202X)
- Experience building component based web applications (React, Angular, Svelte etc.)
- Integrating with first and third party APIs (REST, GraphQL etc.)
- Experience with modern web build tools (npm, Webpack etc.)
- Implemented advanced application state management (Redux etc.)
- Bonus points for:
- Svelte
- TypeScript
