£23,631 - £25,903 per year

HOURS:
36 hours per week
- Visit service users by following a pre-planned schedule, to support with daily tasks, including personal care
- Ensure the health and safety of service users, yourself and colleagues in line with our policies and procedures
- Protect service users from risk and report any concerns to your line manager
- Maintain accurate records and provide updates on service users’ progress
- Comply with national care standards and the Scottish Social Services Council Codes of Practice
- Require to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Have effective communication skills and use your initiative while working on your own
- Be enthusiastic, flexible and willing to learn
- A current driving licence and access to personal transport is essential
- A range of contracted hours, from 10 to 36 hours per week
- The opportunity to work within supportive and stable teams of experienced professionals

- Full support to gain the recognised mandatory qualification for this role eg SVQ Level 2

- Work uniform and all personal protective equipment (PPE) to undertake the role safely and effectively
The Individual
No entry requirement in terms of qualification. However, you are required and will be supported to work towards SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 6 (was SVQ2). You will be required to register with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home service, this will need to be done within 6 months of any start date.
