Job description
We are looking for a dynamic, committed and enthusiastic RE and History Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The successful candidate will enjoy teaching RE and History in a supportive and well-resourced department and must be prepared to contribute fully to departmental developments. This includes delivering KS3 SACRE Cornwall Agreed syllabus for RE and contributing to the planning and teaching of GCSE and statutory RE in KS4, creating differentiated History lessons, amending and updating KS3 History schemes of work to reflect our ongoing curriculum planning, improving literacy, decreasing the DAP and gender gap in both subjects and essentially inspiring pupils through their love of the subject.
The successful candidate will have excellent classroom practice, be committed to high standards of learning and student progress with the energy and vision to build on current progress and have ambitions for themselves and our school.
This is a full time, permanent position to start in September 2023.
