Key Responsibilities:

  • System Deployments: Play a crucial role in deploying new servers and IT systems, ensuring smooth transitions and optimizing performance.
  • Technical Expertise: Tackle 3rd line technical-related tasks, leveraging your deep knowledge to resolve complex issues and provide advanced troubleshooting.

Skills and knowledge required:

  • Microsoft Expertise: Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7/8/10/11) and Server Operating Systems (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022).
  • Microsoft Technologies: Proficiency in Exchange, Hyper-V, and Active Directory.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Cloud services.
  • IT Prowess: Understanding of IT principles, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Switches/Routers/Firewalls, and virtualization.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills for seamless collaboration.
  • Calm and Composed: Ability to thrive under pressure and resolve complex challenges.
  • Continuous Learning: Enthusiasm for expanding IT knowledge and qualifications.
  • Mobility: Full driving license and own transport for on-site support. Ability to work calmly under pressure

Certifications, qualifications and experience required:

Industry certifications from Microsoft or Cisco are desired, as would be a Computer Science related degree. Hands on experience in an IT support role of 5 years+ is also preferred.

Previous work experience at an IT MSP also desired but not essential.

Security Checks:
LaneSystems require staff to complete DBS & BPSS Checks, this will be completed by LaneSystems following acceptance of an offer from the candidate.
