General Radiographer Team Leader | Band 6 Equivalent DOE | OrthTeam Centre - Manchester | Full Time | No Nights
The OrthTeam Centre are looking for an experienced and motivated General Radiographer to lead and co-ordinate a wide range of Radiography services, which include X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound
The OrthTeam Centre (OTC) is an Outpatients and Diagnostic private facility which opened in September 2019. This exciting joint venture between OrthTeam Consultants and Spire Healthcare is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to join a new team and be part of developing Musculoskeletal service, including:
Orthopaedic, Neurosurgical and Neurological assessments
Peripheral nerve injury assessments
Pain Management
Sports and exercise medicine assessments
Sports cardiology assessments
3T MRI
Fluoroscopy guided injections
Digital X-ray
Diagnostic Ultrasound
Duties and responsibilities
- To act as a specialist diagnostic imaging resource for the multi-disciplinary team, and radiographers within Spire Healthcare.
- To lead on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, scheduling planned visits and QA compliance.
- To provide assistance on PACS/RIS administration providing advice and support to the department when requested.
- To promote and assist in marketing of service developments to GP’s and Consultants.
- To undertake evidence based projects, including recommendations for changes in practice.
. Who we're looking for
- Degree (BSc Hons) or equivalent.
- Registration with the HCPC
- A minimum of 5 years radiography experience.
- Competence across a range of imaging and leadership skills supported by highly skilled professional and specialist knowledge.
- Someone who can deal with a range of complex diagnostic imaging facts and problems requiring analysis, interpretation and comparison across a range of options.
- Excellent communication skills
- Management/Supervisory experience disable not essential
