Job title: Radiographic Assistant – Training provided
Salary: Starting from £19,500 depending on experience, plus company car or car allowance
Hours: Monday-Sunday 3 x 12 hour shifts between 7am and 9pm typically
Location: South East (Mobile)

We are looking for a Mobile Radiographic Assistant to join our CT mobiles division in the South East. As this is a mobile role covering a number of locations across (and not limited to) Surrey, Essex, Portsmouth, Corby, Barking, Slough, Luton, Stevenage and around the M25, the successful applicant will be eligible for a company car or car allowance.
We will take your home location in to account and try to base you primarily from the sites most local to you, but there may be occasions when you need to travel further afield - any travel or hotel costs will be paid for by InHealth.

What you will do:
- As part of our clinical team, this role is essential to ensuring our patients receive the best standard of care from arrival through to departure. The Radiographic Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the working day by welcoming patients into the clinical area and preparing them for their CT scan. You will also be required to complete some administrative tasks within the department, however this role will mostly be patient facing.
What you are responsible for:
- Welcoming patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure
- Escorting patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionally
- Completing the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safety questionnaire (where applicable)
- Assessing and monitoring the patient's condition after procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately
- Ensuring patient and customer focus is central to the success of the CT department by delivering an excellent level of patient care throughout
- Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system
- Managing administrative tasks within the unit from time to time that include:
- Dealing with telephone, direct and face to face enquiries
- Booking clinically validated appointments on the internal system
- Ensuring all payments are invoiced promptly and accurately.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A valid UK Driving License
- An empathetic and caring approach
- A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service
- A good understanding of health and safety and infection control
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multi skilled team
- Flexibility in working patterns to fulfil site requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a capability to present information in a logical and efficient manner
- Strong administration skills with an ability to pick up new systems quickly.
