Job Title: CBCT Radiographer
Salary: £33k
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Radiographer to undertake Cone Beam CT for Orthopaedics and Dental and Maxillo-facial imaging based at our clinic in Birmingham This is a Full-Time role, working 15 hours per week across two days.

Diagnostic Healthcare was established in 2004 and provides medical diagnostic imaging services of MRI, ultrasound, DEXA, CT, X-ray and CBCT to both NHS and private patients. We deliver over 300,000 scan appointments every year from over 75 locations and are a trusted provider of services for both NHS and private patients. Diagnostic Healthcare additionally offer independent CBCT dental scanning center's through Cavendish Imaging and CT Dent as part of our group. The independent specialist CBCT imaging center's produce high-resolution 3D volumetric images, allowing for an incredibly thorough and accurate diagnosis.
You will be responsible for:
- As CBCT Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional Cone Beam CT diagnostic imaging service, ensuring clinical safety at all times together with high quality patient care.
- Providing an Cone Beam CT service comprising of wholly unsupervised scanning sessions, you will be accountable for your own professional actions and make clinical judgements and critical decisions, using your knowledge, skills and expertise.
- Maintaining the highest standards of patient care in a safe, clean and tidy working environment, observing all DHC/Trust policies and maintaining exceptional professional and personal standards.
We are looking for somebody with:
- Experience in CT Dental Imaging is desirable but not required as training will be provided. The post-holder must have a Diploma of the Society of Radiographers or BSc equivalent and hold a valid HCPC registration.
- BSC in Radiography or equivalent
- A valid HCPC Registration
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Radiographic techniques.
- A flexible approach to work
- Demonstratable knowledge of the requirements of the Radiographer's role regarding patient care, Health and Safety, and training
- Exemplary inter-personal and written communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to maintain exceptional relationships with colleagues within a diverse, dynamic working environment
