The Role

We have a new opening on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract for an R&D Administrator to join our Scientific Affairs Team that could be a great opportunity for you.
You may have already gained administrative experience supporting teams within a business environment or you could be a recent Life Sciences graduate keen to develop your skills within a Scientific Affairs function. Either way, you will want to play your part in bringing innovative, clinically valuable healthcare products to the market that make a real difference to our consumers lives.
Key Responsibilities:
As an R&D Administrator, you will support our team in a wide range of administrative tasks and projects including:
- Organising internal and external meetings, taking minutes and circulating actions.
- Processing invoices, maintaining the department budget tracker and being first point of contact for our Finance team.
- Supporting Project Leads, for example completing documentation and sending contracts for signature.
- Organising the documentation, analysis and follow-up of potential new project ideas and keeping the innovation project tracker up to date.
- Submitting applications for Scientific Advice Meetings with the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency.
- Managing the supply of products for investigational studies and the provision of research grants.

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a R&D Administrator are:
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and be proactive in seeking areas for process improvements.
- Efficient in the use of computer programmes including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with an interest in trying new systems.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and able to work well as part of a team.
- Conscientious with excellent attention to detail and committed to meeting deadlines.
