The Opportunity

As a Quantity Surveyor at Zenobē you'll have the opportunity to work across our portfolio of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and EV Charging Infrastructure.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement your focus will be to ensure our projects are commercially managed in accordance with the agreed contracts. You'll work closely with the wider project team to ensure our projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high quality.


The role will require a mixture of working from home, at our projects and at our Head Office in London.

A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY

  • Responsible for the commercial and contract management administration of Zenobē’s live construction projects, ensuring good contractual coverage is in place for all planned activities and ad-hoc requirements
  • Manage and resolve commercial issues - including variations, claims & payments
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with new and existing contractors and both internal and external stakeholders
  • Support contractual KPI monitoring and reporting as required
  • Manage formal correspondence process with contractors
  • Support central procurement initiatives, including reviewing and developing processes where needed and feeding in lessons learned from the construction phase into upcoming development projects

Essential skills:

  • Experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience in the construction of electrical infrastructure, across multiple sites
  • Experience with FIDIC, NEC and other forms of contract
  • Ability to handle claims, variation and cost management
  • A genuine passion for renewable energy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams (legal, engineering, construction, finance, etc)

Desirable skills:

  • A relevant qualification (e.g BSc QS, RICS)
