Responsibilities:
As a Quantitative Trading Intern, you will work closely with our trading team and contribute to the development and implementation of trading strategies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research and analysis on various financial instruments and markets using quantitative methods
- Developing and backtesting trading strategies using historical data
- Building and maintaining trading models and systems
- Assisting with the execution and monitoring of trading strategies
- Collaborating with other members of the trading team to improve existing strategies and identify new opportunities
- Communicating findings and insights to the team through presentations and reports
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, physics, or computer science
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a passion for quantitative finance and trading
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and libraries such as pandas, numpy, or scipy
- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments, and experience with financial data analysis is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
