Role Description
Provide technical support and advise to the operational team to ensure current KFMS and customer requirements are maintained and enhanced where appropriate.
Work with the technical and operation teams and other functional areas to build effective relationships, develop trust and promote a food safety & quality first culture thus enabling the effective and sustainable transfer of food safety & quality systems to factory work streams.
Provide verification that the transfer of ownership to the factory work streams has been effective through process or GMP audits.

Role Description

Responsibilities
- Managing a team of 4.
- Ensure compliance in all production areas against sites own internal KFMS standards (including all CCP’s)
- Check that operational standards within the operational teams is adhered to through layered confirmation, GMP audits or visual assessments.
- Confirm the sites adherence to customer standards through auditing of product and operational processes against customer codes of practise.
- Continuously improve standards – be involved with the implementation of new, amended or revised internal, externals or customer requirements ensuring that they are understood and complied with by the operational teams.
- Conduct additional work as required to ensure operational compliance to any standards that the company wish to comply to, for e.g - Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
- Raise non-conformances against the business where non-conformance is identified during review of operational practice.
- Compile customer complaints data and enter into the relevant database to produce usable trend data for the factory teams.
- Work with Ops teams to agree complaint actions plans and ensure implementation of actions agreed.
- Food Safety, HACCP or equivalent experience level.
