Job description
To provide a comprehensive effective and efficient administrative support service to the Community Nursing Teams with online Non Prescription Ordering Service.
To liaise with other Health Care Professionals in order to assist with seamless transition
of patient care.
The post holder will be required to obtain information from Health
Care Professionals to ensure that high quality care is provided.
To provide comprehensive administrative support service to the Nursing
Teams. To maintain stock levels and raise requisitions for stores using the ONPOS system items including dressings, wound care packs and nursing
requirements and be responsible for checking the issues on delivery across
various sites.
The post holder will need to travel across all bases and ensure correct stock
levels are available. Liaising with other departments within the Trust such as other administrative staff within other Community Teams.
Knowledge of prescription orders and maintaining individual patient dressing requirements for community health care professionals to deliver effective patient care.
Undertake other such duties as may from time to time be determined by
mutual agreement between the post-holder and the Community Leadership Team.
Using, handling and storing equipment and material efficiently, effectively and safely following the Trusts manual handling policy.
