Job description

Working within a small team reporting to the Lead Quality Engineer, the Quality Technical Support will ensure the smooth operation of all Quality matters through inputting and updating information from internal and external sources on approved databases whilst supporting on Quality administration tasks. Although primarily office based, occasional travel may be required and accordingly the role requires good communication skills and ability to maintain key relationships, have a current valid passport and driving licence.

Essentual Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Approval Management
  • Internal Audit
  • Customer / Regulatory / External Audit Support
  • Coverage for Data Administration / Quantum Requests
  • Q-Pulse Administration to include:
    • NCR’s
    • Customer database
    • Supplier database
    • People database – training / new hires / leavers
    • Document Management
  • General duties for QMS administration

Any other duties as directed by the Lead Quality Engineer, as appropriate to level of experience.


Education and/or Experience:

GCSEs to include Maths and English or equivalent

Relevant experience within a Quality or Audit function


Essential:

Industry Quality Experience

High level of aptitude and attention to detail

Internal Audit and/or External Audit Qualifications


Desirable:

Good working knowledge of Quantum

Q-Pulse system experience

Previous experience in an aviation environment
