Job introduction

We are looking for a Quality Monitoring Support Officer- 26 hours per week, over four days, Monday - Thursday to join our small, committed team supporting all contracted Adult Social Care providers across the city.

About the role

The Quality Monitoring Team is a creative, forward thinking team, supporting all Adult Social Care contracted services, including services provided in-house, across the city. This covers all provider types and client groups including: domiciliary care, supported living, residential, and nursing care. The team’s role is to monitor & support services to provide good quality care to keep people safe.

You will be involved with supporting the monitoring of services through a range of methods including on-site visits. You will be able to contribute to the development and design of systems and processes for the team.

You will be supporting Quality Monitoring Officers, working alongside one other Quality Monitoring Support Officer, by triaging all information received by the team and maintaining existing quality systems. Additionally, you will be working independently to request and analyse provider documentation and support the production of high quality reports. Furthermore, you will be liaising directly with a range of professionals including: service providers, social care assessment teams, the Care Quality Commission [CQC] and NHS Sussex.

We will provide you with a comprehensive induction and ongoing, regular supervisions. You will also have access to training and be supported with continuous professional development.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
