QUALITY MANAGER
POSITION : Quality Manager
LOCATION : Commutable from Beverley , Hull , Bridlington , Leeds , York , Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Goole, Sheffield, Lincoln
SALARY AND BENEFITS : £60-70k plus car or allowance, pension , healthcare
THE ROLE : This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager from the Construction Sector to join our established and well respected client who work on a wide range of projects throughout the UK. The role will involve a mix of working in the office , site visits and some home working.
As a Quality Manager, you will help deliver the quality management system across multidisciplinary schemes. This will include assisting in the production of project quality plans and inspection and test plans in conjunction with the in-house design department as well as external partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with both in house and external teams, ensuing projects are delivered to, time, cost, and Quality standards.
- Involved in the testing and commissioning process as well as driving the delivery of the Health & Safety file documentation including the O&M, Asset manuals.
- Responsible for the implementation of quality plans, overseeing subcontractor/supplier quality forums, and actively investigate any quality failures and non-conformities.
- Be the quality interface for clients, subcontractors and suppliers, responsible for in-depth and complete investigations into quality issues, and ensuring that quality standards are in line with company objectives.
- Involved in project surveillances and audits, responsible for identifying quality issues that could affect customer satisfaction with the view of maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
