Quality Manager Hayle, England
Job description
We are currently looking for a Quality Manager to join our team, based at our Packhouse site in Hayle, providing management support to a team of Quality Control Operatives and being responsible for the overall quality compliance within our Packhouse environment.
The role is full-time and permanent.
The ideal candidate will have:
o Previous experience and understanding of Quality Control, within the Brassica or Agricultural industry (Desired) or alternatively, experience within a Quality Manager or Supervisory role in the Food Industry.
o An understanding of working to specifications.
o Previous experience in leading and motivating people.
o Good communication skills and the ability to make proactive and concise decisions independently.
A few of your key responsibilities will include:
o Regular and random checks of product to ensure our customer specifications are met.
o Liaise with the harvesting managers to feedback any quality issues & changes in specs
o Training and supporting new employees, along with coaching Quality Control Operatives to ensure our quality standards are met throughout the Packhouse.
o Liaise with the Technical team to understand customer complaints/rejection, ensuring all actions are monitored and completed.

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
