We are seeking a passionate and self-driven Quality Manager to join our team based here at Dordon. Hybrid working is available. There will also be the occasional international travel required.

How you will make a difference…
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective quality control processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from factory inspection to final product delivery.
- Design and execute comprehensive quality assurance programs to monitor product performance and compliance with established product quality standards.
- Implement and maintain a quality management system incorporating the required quality and sustainability procedures, policies and documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, records, and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and certifications.
- Collaborate with NPD process to ensure all new products are compliant and will perform to expected standards. Work with product designers and factories to establish quality requirements, design verification and validation plans, and risk management strategies.
- Provide training and guidance to company personnel on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Identify and research creative ways in which HiB can balance business obligations with the goal of respecting, supporting and improving our local and global environments.
- Manage our suppliers / factories, including the QA Manager based in China, to ensure that the raw materials, components, and outsourced processes meet relevant quality standards.
- Monitor customer feedback, complaints, and satisfaction levels related to product quality. Lead investigations into product quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions with factories to avoid recurrence.
- Manage the process of recovering costs / credits from the factories for defective products, product recalls and rework.
- Support and manage third party audits ensuring our deliverables comply with customer, company, quality, industry, regulations and legal requirement standards.
- Ensure that you have current working knowledge of compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and identify any training needs in relation to this area.
What you will need to be able to make a difference…
- Thorough understanding/experience of Quality Assurance principles and approaches and experience of working within a ISO9001 quality system
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and various inspection and testing methods
- Understanding of the requirements of Quality policies, procedures and product specification and the ability to produce them in clear concise formats
- Ability to form and maintain good relationships with suppliers and colleagues
- Full knowledge of EN standards, CSR principles and regulations.
- Attention to detail. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to produce reports and drive data-based decisions.
- Experience with quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) is advantageous.
