Job description

As the Quality Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure that our garments meet or exceed customer expectations. You will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our quality management system, conducting inspections, implementing quality control measures, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Establish and enforce quality control procedures, including inspection plans, sampling methods, and testing protocols.

Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-progress production, and finished garments to identify quality issues and non-conformities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and sales, to address quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for process optimization.

Manage customer feedback and complaints, investigating issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Analyze quality data and generate reports on key quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators for management review.

Provide training and guidance to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in quality management techniques to ensure the company remains at the forefront of quality practices.

Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors to ensure the quality of purchased materials and outsourced services.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as textile engineering, quality management, or a related discipline. A master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience working as a Quality Manager or in a similar role within the textile or apparel industry.

Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies, such as ISO 9001 and Six Sigma.

Familiarity with fabric properties, garment construction techniques, and industry-specific quality requirements.

Excellent understanding of quality assurance processes, inspection methods, and statistical techniques for quality control.

Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, develop effective solutions, and drive process improvements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.

Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
