What you will enjoy doing

• You will be responsible for inspecting critical and sensitive aerospace parts and understanding the inspection priorities within the department to meet production requirements and targets
• This position is responsible for ensuring all processed components conform to the Customers and internal requirements, both incoming and outgoing
• Further, you will ensure the paperwork package is correct, confirming the customer drawing and the drawing issue status is correct
• You will visually inspect parts to ensure they adhere to the technical specifications, and identifying anomalies will be part of this role
• You will use appropriate documentation and measuring equipment to ensure all requirements have been met.

What makes you great

• You must be able to use various pieces of measuring equipment, make mathematical calculations and evolve set ups for measuring purposes (unit conversions)
• Some previous exposure to inspection within manufacturing, coating or aerospace industries is desirable
• You must be a flexible individual, with the ability to prioritise work and adapt to the changing production/quality demands when required
• You have good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• In addition, you have the ability to withstand pressures, typical within a service industry, from other departments
• Good vision and attention to detail is required
