Quality Inspector
Luton
£15 per hour
Ability to work either 4 days week (Monday to Thursday) or 5 days week if preferred
Are you a passionate Quality Inspector, looking for an exciting new role?
Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Quality Inspector to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Luton working as part of their Engineering team.
Principle Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector :-
· Ensuring quality products are delivered to the customer & all faults are reported back to Production in a timely manner.
· Generating Measurement reports for samples, new parts, prototype parts or tooling as required using the Romer Arm measurement machine (PC-DMIS Software)
· Accurate recording of faults, Investigate and determining causes of them for resolution ensuring products meet the customer’s expectations & requirements.
· Ensure processes conform to ISO 9001:2015 standards to ensure full integration into the business quality management system or IATF 16949 for automotive customer/s.
· Ensure focus on health and safety using PPE is maintained whilst conducting given tasks.
· Support in PDI & other improvement quality processes
· Participate in drive forward Continuous Improvement initiatives where required.
Person specification:-
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Engineering quality related function or similar background.
· Experienced use of Romer Measurement Arm (or Faro Arm measurement equipment) using PC-DMIS Software
· Ability to understand customer drawings, specifications & tolerance requirements.
· An understanding of PPAP, NPI & Core tools such as 8D
· Fully conversant with M.S. Office particularly, Excel & Word
This is a full time permanent Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday Quality Inspector position, offering a salary of £15 per hour.
