II-2. Key Roles and Responsibilities
1) The primary responsibility is to provide dimensional support to the plant.
2) Develop and /or revision of PPAP documentation
3) Supplier development activities (As needed).
4) First point of contact for customers.
5) Primary Corrective and Preventive Action generator.
6) Develop and /or revise TS16949 procedures and work instructions for quality.
7) Root Cause Analysis of quality issues.
8) Any other responsibilities assign by the Quality Manager.
9) Under the guidance of the Launch Coordinator, make preparations for the launch of new platform programs.
10) Track the progress of newly launched platform
11) programs and lead the effort in securing customer specific awards
12) The principle goals of this position are to prevent/eliminate defects, increase customer satisfaction and achieve cost savings through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) techniques.
13) Assigned to cross-functional team.
14) Prepare or assist in the development of quality documents that include PPAP submissions, PCPs, FMEAs,
Flow charts , statistical studies, gage studies
15) Evaluation of statistical data: Cp, CpK
16) Initiate and follow-up corrective actions
17) Analysis of customer complains
18) Prepare and carry out presentations to the customer
19) Evaluate the quality of the product in customers’ locations
20) Coordinate the sorting and containment of the faulty or suspicious finished product
21) Communicate potential problems to these involved
22) Establish the acceptance criteria for cosmetic matters
23) Begin validation of the equipment, MSA studies
24) Participation in the production of quality system documents
25) Support the assembly processes in the points related to quality
26) Assure follow-up to the quality procedures
27) Follow-up corrective actions
28) Evaluation and approval of engineering and PCR changes
29) Elaboration of quality metrics for managerial review
30) Supervise and evaluate the activities of auditors
31) Feedback to the internal and external customer
32) Receive notifications of the results of the laboratory tests
33) Comply with the procedures and instructions of the quality and environment standards (those applicable)
34) Provide support and training to the personnel under his charge, as required
35) All those activities that are generated due to changes, necessity and/or improvement in the process of the Area
II-3. Job Requirements
II-3-1. Work Experience
1) 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in quality.
2) Previous Quality Engineering experience required, preferably in an automotive environment.
II-3-2. Education
1) High School Diploma
2) College degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience and training.
II-3-3. Knowledge Skills and Abilities
1) Ability to read and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
2) Excellent problem solving skills.
3) Ability to travel to the customers and suppliers locations and other SL Facilities
4) Familiar with ISO 9000 and QS 9000/TS16949 requirements.
5) Ability to develop and/or revise PPAP documentation.
6) Strong communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $61,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
