Due to continued growth, we are looking for a pro-active Graduate Quality Engineer to join our highly successful team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious graduate of a quality-related discipline to utilise their skills and take on a new challenge in a fast paced environment. The key to success in this role will be developing an understanding of the business of Rubber and Plastic moulding to develop and implement quality programs to increase customer satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives.
The position is based in our Aberdeen office and reports to the Quality Manager. The successful candidate will drive improvements, drive a data focused approach to shop floor problem solving, coordinate company, client, and supplier audits, manage NCRS/Concessions, and liaise directly with our customers.
We are looking for candidates who hold a degree in a quality related discipline and have the desire to drive improvement in the business and apply their technical knowledge to proactively problem solve. The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders is essential alongside a willingness to learn.
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques such a Six Sigma, Lean or Kaizen is desirable and previous exposure to a manufacturing environment would be viewed as advantageous.
