My Client is a key supplier in the automotive sector, home to a number of large press workers, servicing the industry. Due to the continued growth in this sector, we are looking to recruit an additional Quality Engineer to join our friendly and experienced team.
Annual Salary: Up to £28.000
Weekly Hours: Mon to Thurs 07:00-16:30, Fri 08.00 to 13.00
Annual Leave: 33 days incl bank holidays

The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:
- Using inspection equipment for testing parts
- CMM and Vickers Hardness Testing experience
- Trouble shooting
- Use of PPAP level 3 in order to inspect our products to the highest standard.
Skills required of the Quality Engineer:
- Wiling to learn
- Keen eye for detail
- Understanding and knowledge of motor trade policies advantageous
- Should be fully conversant with Microsoft programs, especially Excel
- Self management and organisational skills
- The ability to read Engineers drawings would be beneficial
- Understanding of Fasteners and Automotive industry
- Have an understanding of PPAP level 3 requirements
