Job description

Maxwell Consultancy are working closely with an established engineering business in their search for a Quality Engineer. This is a full-time, permanent position working in their state of the art workshop in Fife. The company have been going from strength to strength in recent times winning work across multiple sectors - Oil & Gas, Renewables, Marine.

What's required?

• Qualification in relevant Quality discipline
• Experience working within one of the following - Oil & Gas, Renewables or marine
• Minimum of 3 years in similar role
• Working closely with QA & QC departments
• Internal auditor for ISO 90001
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Ensuring the sites can meet quality requirements for customers
• Working towards reductions in non - conformances
• Validation of documentation
• Working closely with group suppliers
• Dealing with tenders to customer handover
• Understanding of technical requirements for projects
• Strong knowledge of procedures for inspections
• Quality lead when representing the business
• Liaising closely with customers throughout projects
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure business objectives are met
• Adhering to company procedures and policies at all times
• Focal point for any customer queries regarding quality
