Quality Engineers are responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications and confer with engineering staff to determine quality standards.
- Prepare corrective action responses, 8D problem solving for permanent corrective actions, and lead problem solving activities.
- Manage internal and customer drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrate and deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring timely release of control of configuration management documents.
- Provide technical support to both internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards.
- Actively support Cost-Out, Scrap/Rework reduction & improved First Pass Yield site goals and objectives
INDCAZ
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, or other related field)
- At least 3 years relevant work experience
- Six Sigma, 8D, or root cause analysis experience using statistical analysis tools
- Certification process experience (i.e. ISO9001:2008, AS9100/9110)
