- Proactively works with the various ABC Operations in reviewing supplier quality and delivery performance issues.
- Determine potential risks on various components and ways to mitigate any disruptions to the manufacturing facilities.
- Ensures Action Plans are developed, and monitored for risk based suppliers.
- Manages the SQN portal; ensures timely and accurate closure of SQN’s and chargebacks.
- Supports BTAB Process, Run @ Rates and PPAP activities where necessary.
- Completes weekly / monthly Executive Reports for Quality, Purchasing and Business Units.
- Experience in PPAP, supplier plant audits, and problem-resolution activities.
- Engineering and technical competence are required.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision is necessary.
- 5 or more years of experience in working with suppliers to ensure quality launches in both automotive and Industrial applications.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment.
- A demonstrated ability to use initiative; strong business acumen and proven ability to think critically.
- Ability to travel locally, US, Mexico, and Overseas.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Automotive experience will be an asset.
- Fluency in one or more Asian languages will be a definite asset.
