Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8am - 4:40pm

What will you be doing;
- Analysis of both TFE (thin film evaporator) & SRU (Solvent recovery unit) incoming / product & waste samples
- Analysis of site water samples & confirmation to operatives if the sample meets our discharge specification
- Legionella testing of cooling tower waters
- Maintenance of QC & TFE laboratory, incoming/outgoing feed, product and waste
- Development/distillation lab work for enquiry samples & general process improvement trials
- Compliance with respect to QHSE, EPR and COMAH Regulations by following and ensuring all reports adhere to SOP’s and other related documents issued by Site Management
- New enquiry preliminary analysis
- TFE production planning, mock blending and batch sheet / blend / bulk sheet preparation & issuing
What are we looking for;
- Relevant Science Based degree/HNC
- Experience in distillation is preferable but not essential for the right candidate
- Demonstrated competence with use of analytical equipment
- Safety qualification – NEBOSH/IOSH is desirable
