Bringing fashion and Bridal together, a combination that Brides crave. It provides that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ for the Bride that is looking for something unique yet effortlessly chic.
We're on the lookout for an incredibly talented and passionate Assistant Manager to join our Notting Hill team. You must be a fashion lover, who loves meeting women of all personalities, and skilled in backend duties as well as high end customer service.
As an Assistant Manager you will demonstrate your extensive bridal knowledge, complete all appropriate paperwork, and ensure timely and accurate data entry. In addition, Assistant Manager will support the Studio Manager in successful management of a small team and operational efforts of the boutique.

You must have a natural ability to make customers feel welcome, relaxed and stress-free throughout their special journey.
Responsibilities:
- Directing exclusive and private consultations - demonstrating bridal and fabric knowledge including dress selection, pinning, styling and accessory options to go beyond the customer’s initial request.
- Achieve shared monthly sales targets
- Adhere to The Mews Bridal operations and procedures as instructed in the The Mews Bridal handbook, clearly convey Terms and Conditions to all customers, accurately complete all appropriate paperwork, and ensure timely and accurate data entry.
- The ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional service to customers
- Completing required paperwork, records and managing schedules of customer items and updating relevant documents when deliveries have been received within the required time frame in a clear and organised manner
- Answering customer enquiries via email, phone and our CRM database in enthusiastic and timely manner
- Processing orders, quoting brides, handling cash, sales transactions and customer refunds
- Booking customer appointments and maintaining the diary in an efficient manner
- Pressing and steaming bridal items ready for fitting consultations and collections
- Carrying out quality control checks on items received and reporting any defects on dresses to Studio Manager so it can be reported in a timely manner
- Working alongside the Studio Manager, offering support with the day-to-day running of the studio, the team and any customer issues to aid decision making where necessary
- Taking on the Studio Managers full responsibilities when absent
- Be involved in stock control and management
- Showcasing the brand (image/products/merchandise) and ensuring visual merchandising, displays, stock and the studio are always presentable to meet high standards
- Help recruit and train new team members, offering continued support and guidance to management
Requirements:
- Full-time (Tuesday-Saturday)
- Previous fashion experience and luxury sales is essential
- Bridal experience is welcomed but not essential
- Thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Demonstrate excellent high end customer service
- Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance
