Job description

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an analyst to join our established team to perform high quality analytical testing to cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards to assure the Quality, Safety and Efficacy of our products across their shelf life. The role will contribute to ongoing annual testing of Licensed TP Products, in addition to playing a vital part in providing Stability data for the regulatory submission of new products across the globe.

To be successful in this role you will need to have previously worked in science based or laboratory role. You will need to be a good team player, hardworking and reliable, show close attention to detail. You will need the ability to work to a deadline and ensure that all tasks performed meet the required standards in compliance with regulations, and that all data is generated to cGMP and the Pharmaceutical Quality System

Our team of Stability Analysts based within the QC Chemistry Lab, work closely together to complete projects within tight deadlines. Work often involves testing of new products and supporting/working alongside other teams.

Main duties of the job

  • Performing analysis of Stability samples to meet the required standards in compliance with regulations
  • Producing data to assist in the licensing of products for Torbay Pharmaceuticals and maintaining compliance
  • Ensure that the stability programme is followed and that all data is generated to cGMP and the Pharmaceutical Quality System

Salary: £25147.00 (per year) This is a full time, permanent role

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • A Levels in Chemistry or NVQ Level 3 in science based discipline (or equivalent related experience)

Desirable criteria

  • Lean six sigma qualification

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Essential criteria

  • Experience of working in a wet chemical laboratory, this can be achieved during education
  • Ability to problem solve in pharmaceutical analysis
  • Ability to use several different specialised computer software systems that control laboratory equipment plus traditional packages such as Word/Excel
  • General knowledge of laboratory work.
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Health and safety and COSHH risk assessments

Desirable criteria

  • Lean six sigma experience
  • Experience of working to a cGMP/GLP and pharmaceutical Quality System
