The Position
To support and drive the maintenance of Novo Nordisk Quality Management System (QMS) in the UK affiliate and EU Region where relevant, ensuring product quality, patient safety and compliance, and hereby focus on business-critical issues that may have an impact on license to operate and inspection readiness.
Nature and scope of main accountabilities & responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that the QMS in the affiliate is maintained and in compliance with Novo Nordisk requirements and external requirements
- Being the named Responsible Person (RP) on the Wholesaler Distribution Authorisation (WDA) for the UK to ensure that the Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements are met
- Understanding quality risks and minimise the impact to the business
- Interacting cross functionally throughout the UK affiliate to improve and maintain the QMS, by driving simplicity and robust processes
- Training and communicating the QMS throughout the local affiliate organisation.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate pays attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness who has strong organisation and time management skills. Moreover:
- You hold a university degree or equivalent
- You demonstrate broad knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
- You have acquired high level knowledge of/experience with Quality and Quality Management systems
- You have a high-level understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, including GDP activities
- You have an excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both verbal and written)
We would like you to demonstrate that you are a proactive and motivated team member, with ability to solve problems and that you have interpersonal awareness and sensitivity.
We need a strong team-player who is also capable of working independently to a high standard and ensure deadlines are met under pressure.
About the Department
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Senior Director, Legal, Quality & Compliance. You will be working closely with other affiliate Quality Reporting Programs (QRPs), EU Quality Assurance Management team, Quality, Affiliates & Marketing (QAM) in Novo Nordisk quality, and other external distribution partners.
