Job description

General Description of the Position’s Function and Purpose

  • Ensure the quality of products, the customer supports and the business operation within the company for utmost in customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the human safety of the product and production process.
  • Organize the product compliances against the laws and public regulations such as the environmental requirements and the conflict mineral material sourcing.
  • Oversee the quality policies, procedures and operations from the product development process through the manufacturing and shipping.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the corporate quality systems and policies, including but not limited to the Quality Manual and ISO certification.
  • Establish and coordinate implementation of continuous quality improvement programs with the production department.
  • Responsible to provide the quality report to customer at the customer claims coordinating with internal departments.
  • Follow up and monitor implementation of Corrective Actions for customer quality claims.
  • Support customer Quality audits.
  • Audit internal and external production processes for product quality and safety, then certify.
  • Participate new product development discussion in YEU from Quality perspective.
  • Certify new products based on the data and documentations from Engineering and QC departments.
  • Conduct regular quality meeting with the production and engineering team to keep the continuous quality improvement.
  • Certify new vendor based on the evaluation by Production, Engineering and QC teams.
  • Establish and manage the environmental policy and procedures to ensure the compliance to the environmental regulations and laws, with managing the product material information communicating with the engineering and the suppliers.
  • Inspect the material substance and monitor the compliance.
  • Establish and manage the policy and procedures to ensure the compliance to the laws and regulations eliminating to use the conflict mineral materials in the products, communication with the engineering and the suppliers.
  • Provides declaration documents for customers regarding the restricted materials for environmental and supply chain.

  • Conflict mineral laws and regulations and the materials.

Education - Bachelor's Degree in Quality or Engineering related field
