The Role
Leveraging the latest advances in intelligent cloud technologies, we are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. Your expertise in testing tools, campaigns, and frameworks, along with your understanding of the software development life cycle, will be essential. As part of your objectives, you will work alongside product and other teams to ensure quality throughout the entire software development and release lifecycles, focusing on both expected and unexpected scenarios.

In this role, you will:
Design and enhance test plans in order to identify, validate and assure product performance and quality
Enhance and execute QA campaigns as part of the release lifecycle in order to identify issues and limitations prior to a release
Apply testing best practices and methodologies linked to functional, performance, security, and regression testing among others
Analyze findings and generate reports with plans for improvements to be used in communication with cross-functional teams
Participate in product design and code reviews to provide input on quality related topics
Provide support on the analysis, investigation and remediation of quality related issues of the application
Stay updated on industry best practices and new testing tools and technologies
Here's what we are looking for:
BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in a related software development role, preferably in quality assurance
Proficiency in python, and the use of common data science libraries such as pandas and NumPy
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies, tools and frameworks
Proficiency in designing and executing test plans and testing campaigns
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or any other cloud provider is a strong plus
