Pilgrim's UK Lamb are looking for new additions to join there Technical team.

The role involves the through inspection and monitoring, to ensure that dressed carcases are presented to the required standard and ensure legislative compliance across the site.

Main Responsibilities;

• Inspecting lamb carcasses after MLC / FSA Inspection.
• Scanning condemnations from carcasses
• Inspecting lamb carcasses, ensuring the product meets the required customer specification.
• Inspecting lamb carcasses in refrigerators (Final Check) prior to loading / dispatch

Personal Qualities:

• Physically fit person with an ability to work in a pressurised environment on occasion
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Speed and accuracy with attention to detail
• Able to self-motivate with little direction or management and able to undertake action quickly and effectively when required
• Ability to cope with fluctuations in demands and a flexible attitude to work to accommodate the needs of the abattoir

Previous experience within a similar environment is advantageous; although, not required as full training will be provided onsite.
