Reablement and Occupational Therapy Teams
We are developing new ways of delivering Reablement and Occupational Therapy in Adult Social Care and are offering an exciting opportunity as a Quality Performance Supervisor to support these dynamic and evolving teams.
Reablement is a multi-disciplinary team, working with commissioned providers as well as a new service with our internal Solihull Reablement Service and we will shortly be part of the integrated Hospital Discharge Hub. There is increasing recognition for the role we can play, and we are seeking to step up and integrate those values into our services.
Our Occupational Therapy Team consists of the One Front Door Duty Team, Community Team, and Children’s Occupational Therapists. The team assess adults and children in the community and recommend equipment and adaptations in order to maintain the person’s independence. We also have an assessment clinic, where people come to us for bathing assessments (currently based at the Better Living Centre).
The services provide for Solihull residents aged 18 onwards within wider Adult Social Care, whilst Occupational Therapy also support Children’s Services. This is an exciting time, as development and the value of our roles and the benefits of changes made require close monitoring to ensure we are providing the best for our customers.
In this role, you will provide support to management to monitor and evaluate service performance and quality assisting with reporting on data analysis and considerations such as cost benefits and implications. You will provide supervisory and PDR support for administration staff in both teams including a supported employment placement that also works across both teams.
You will liaise with Finance and Business Intelligence around the key performance indicators and the budget requirements. You will keep audit and report on team practice as well as supporting management teams to identify service developments.
We are looking for someone who has:
- 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English or equivalent experience
- Experience of managing and developing staff
- Experience of analysing and interpreting data and developing systems
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
- Understanding and be able to respect confidential information and GDPR legislation
