Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and mentorship to ensure team success.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business expansion.
- Identify and connect with potential leads who can bring forth projects of £500k or more, aligning with our company's minimum project value.
- Build and nurture relationships with architects, project developers, and industry professionals, leveraging your strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Utilize your expertise in relationship-building and negotiation to secure contracts and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities to attract potential clients.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management, demonstrating progress toward monthly and quarterly targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in a senior sales role, preferably within the construction industry or a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team towards achieving targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with key stakeholders.
- A track record of success in identifying and closing high-value projects, demonstrating exceptional sales abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets within specified timeframes.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, identify business opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to build and maintain valuable relationships with architects, project developers, and industry professionals.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and measure performance.
- MBA degree or equivalent qualification in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
