So where do our Quality Advisers fit in? As a passionate training provider, learners are at the centre of everything we do. So ensuring quality of education for them is one of our key objectives. As a Quality Advisor, you will carry out assurance activities, Ensuring they align with awarding body and internal requirements. Applying a development first approach, You will identify and support on delivery staff development needs in order to provide a focused and wrap around service. Key Responsibilities • Ensure that assurance sampling and development activities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with the Quality framework, individual development needs and external partner requirements, reporting to appropriate managers • Review the best practice seen from the assurance and development activities and contribute to the approaches to transfer and capture impact across the provision • Proactive approach to driving monthly completions with allocated delivery according to predictions • Participate in the coaching and training provided to the delivery team and measure the impact on processes within the learner journey, such as CEIAG, teaching, learning, assessment, and next steps advice • Support operational teams in developing reflective and evaluative practice during self-assessment and improvement planning activities, including, within operational meetings were required • Positively challenge where quality is not met and drive continuous improvement in the professional practice of delivery staff • Liaising with appropriate staff to ensure that systems in support of teaching, learning and assessment, verification and any additional support required are fully implemented • Support and ensure delivery staff embed the cross-cutting wider skill themes of Safeguarding/Prevent, Equality & Diversity/Inclusion, British Values and Health & Safety/Well-being, digital skills development and on-line safety are throughout the learning programme • Contribute to the staff recruitment and induction process and assuring the suitability of new delivery staff • Work closely with the Curriculum Development team to advise on the development and revision of curriculum in the identified provision area • Undertake CPD and sector updating to ensure the contractual requirements of the post and the needs of the department at met. Including embracing different styles of training techniques, e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching • Provide Line Manager with accurate and up to date information, including requesting reporting • Ensure the completion of all Quality Advisor paperwork/online documentation required to meet audit requirements is in place • Undertake observations of teaching, learning and assessment including learning walks on direct and where required subcontracted provision, including face to face and remote observations. Reporting any high-risk aspects to your respective Quality Manager • Support delivery staff in getting the learners readiness for gateway and EPA assessments robust, this includes conducting mock EPA activity were required (Apps only) • Carry out sector specific standardisation activities in line with internal and Awarding Organisation requirements, lead and prepare for EQA and Quality review visits as allocated by your Quality Manager • Provide learners, customers and colleagues with support, advice guidance as part of your everyday role • Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours • Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company • Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies and be vigilant to potential concerns and risks at all times • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Qualifications:
Relevant teaching qualification
Relevant beauty qualification to at least level 3
Relevant assessor Qualification
Relevant Quality Qualification
Level 2 numeracy and literacy (or GCE/GCSE equivalent)
Experience:
Appropriate teaching, assessing and Quality Advisor experience in terms of breadth and depth
Vocational experience within the sector for which you will Quality Advise of at least 4 years
Coaching and developing the practice of others
A track record of outcomes against KPIs
A trend of consistently good or better teaching observations
Demonstrable experience of sharing practice and resources
Managing change
Delivering and assessing teaching and assessor qualifications (desirable)
Demonstrate experience of developing and quality assuring practitioners using a range of digital programmes/platforms
Solid knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Knowledge:
Detailed knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework
Detailed knowledge of a company’s Quality Framework and audit regime
Detailed and practical understanding of teaching, learning and assessment for learning
Detailed knowledge of Internal Quality Assurance
Induction
