Are you looking for a Qualified Social Worker Project? We are looking to a recruit an experienced Qualified Social Worker who will be eager to join a School Project Team. Our client has a new exciting opportunity that will get you working with the Early Help Team to get the project off the ground within Cumbria Council. Main duties include: Early Help/Preventative Work Providing Families with education and training Very manageable caseload of approx. 1-2 cases (Assessment through to LAC/CP) Creating individualized intervention plans Referring students and their families to mental health services if needed Educating parents and teachers on how to help children overcome their issues Undertake Children and Family assessments Listen to students' issues when they come looking for help, and provide support and discuss solutions with them Talk with students who exhibit concerning behaviours to understand their issues Identify problems in the school setting, such as bullying or aggressive behaviour Review students' medical and mental health history Interview parents and teachers of students who face problems to update their records Create individualized plans for students who face hardships at school or at home To be successful: For this Social Worker role within the School's Project Team, you will need to have an active SWE Registration. You will need to have previous experience carrying a varied caseload. You will need experience of dealing with various problems that children and families face and demonstrate problem-solving skills when in a crisis.
