Our Mental Health Service provides high quality assessment and treatment to clients accessing healthcare via their insurance provider or employer. We believe in the efficacy of virtual interventions, and we provide brief therapy to a low-risk population, presenting with mild-moderate common mental health problems.
Position Summary
We are currently recruiting a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to work as part of a team delivering low intensity CBT, with additional responsibilities that may include provision of case management supervision and clinical skills.
Contract type: Permanent
Annual salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum DOE
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, full and part-time hours available (minimum of 3 days)
Location: remote, working from home
Accountabilities
- Assessment, formulation, and treatment planning for patients referred into the Mental Health Service (MHS) up to Step 2 level of treatment; referring on or signposting to alternative services and to the Teladoc’s other services when additional need is identified
- Generate individual Risk Support Plans for patients based upon psychological wellbeing assessments enabling wider services to support patients appropriately
- Step 2 low intensity CBT with an appropriate caseload of individual therapy patients and deliver group psycho-educational support webinars (internally and externally) that have been co-produced and developed within the MHS
- Deliver evidence-based low intensity CBT as outlined in the Service Delivery Framework, maintaining good quality clinical case notes throughout as well as support in gathering and reporting clinical outcomes and service evaluation data
Main Responsibilities
- Perform psychological wellbeing assessments integrating the use of both qualitative and quantitative (psychometric measures) information
- To work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Communicate clinical information clearly to both clinical and non-clinical members of the team
- To perform assessments and engage in case conference meetings to review and agree assessment outcomes and next steps for patient treatment
- To maintain accurate good quality clinical notes and service monitoring records in accordance with the Service Delivery Framework and high clinical practice standards
- To support the Clinical Operations Manager in gathering and reporting clinical outcome and service evaluation reports
- To support other members of the MHS and Teladoc teams to generate the best possible outcomes and safe treatment for patients
- To hold a managed, time limited caseload of individual therapy patients supporting issues relevant to a Step 2 threshold of care
- To engage in regular peer and individual clinical supervision
- To attend regular line management supervision where case management will be regularly discussed and reviewed
- To actively contribute to the development of a supportive and effective psychological wellbeing team and service
- To attend and positively participate in line management meetings, annual appraisals, monthly and quarterly team meetings etc as required
- Willingness to contribute to the charitable aims of the organization
Essential Qualifications
- MUST have: Post Graduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies (PWP core training)
- BA/BSc Psychology
