We are committed to delivering and maintaining manageable fieldwork caseloads. This will allow you to focus more time on individual cases and be more involved in delivering a higher level of service.
You can expect to have your learning prioritised. We have maintained a budget for career development and career progression. We have an outstanding Assessed and Supported Year in Employment. We also have an extensive development offer to allow experienced practitioners to progress their careers and to meet the Government’s vision for national accreditation of all statutory social workers by 2020.
You will receive a competitive salary and a generous annual leave entitlement. We are also willing to discuss a variety of options in terms of flexible working, including fixed term contracts.
A pilot relocation package is available for posts at Grade H and I (Social Workers and Advanced Social Work Practitioners) of up to £8000 (terms and conditions apply). (Pilot may be subject to change).

- Newly Qualified Social Worker (ASYE) Grade G (£30,451 to £32,910). All newly qualified workers will be enrolled on the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment, under the terms of the Government’s National Guidance, relevant to their starting date.
