Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a QHSE Manager to join our passionate and driven team based at our Site Based out of York with regional, duty travel required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all works are delivered safely on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Responsible for all operational service delivery including risk and compliance in the region through contract delivery teams.
- Own the customer relationship, promoting a one-team approach and issue resolution.
- Carry out technical inspections and building workarounds and proactively identify tasks.
- Oversee incidents & failure management.
- Assist the development of the continuous improvements of the QHSE management systems and improvements.
- Provide guidance on the implementation and review of policies.
- Regular review and monitoring of policies and procedures.
- Provide and deliver QHSE training and development to colleagues.
- Assist in the development of QHSE plans to ensure a safe working environment for all company employees, contractors and visitors.
- Advise staff on all QHSE matters.
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Provide action plans on audit findings.
- Keep up to date with current health and safety legislation and provide updates to the business.
- Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced.
- Outline safe operational procedures which identify and take into account all relevant hazards.
About You:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Senior Management experience in the facilities management area, managing hard and soft services and project works including managing an operational site-based or mobile team.
- Hold a valid CSCS card and have relevant H&S qualifications for the position (IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS).
- Excellent communication skills including presentation and written report writing.
- Good PC skills, including advanced Excel.
- Ability to complete full Disclosure and Government baseline clearance (mandatory requirement to work on contract).
