Job description
We are looking for exceptional talent to join our inspiring multinational teams, and right now we are seeking to recruit an IT Test Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT Team here at Dover to establish a Test Management Office with a view to develop and grow it in the future. You will develop an overall test strategy for both projects and smaller changes that can be adopted by technical and business teams to drive and improve the quality of the solutions through the testing phases.
The key responsibilities
- Develop test strategy and approach for project/s.
- Create test plans with clear entry and exit criteria.
- Defining templates to collate test cases, scripts, and data (currently manual, aspiration to be automated in the future).
- Overseeing and reporting testing status of the relevant test phase to project / programme manager / IT leadership team.
- Validating with testers the test results against either test scenarios outcome/solution documents.
- Analysing the defects and ensuring defect process established ahead of test execution.
- Training / educate business SME’s / Testers in testing best practices in readiness for test execution.
