Summary

Baxter, Thetford is currently searching for a QC Analyst to join the Microbiology Team. You will be responsible for performing microbiological and environmental monitoring (EM) testing required during various stages of the manufacturing of products at Thetford.

This role is Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00; however we are able to offer flexibility on start time/finish time. We also ask that you work every 8th weekend as part of a rota system.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a global pharmaceutical company. You will work closely with other QC Analysts/Microbiologists/Chemists, and work together to ensure we are releasing the highest quality products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological and EM testing.
• Support laboratory investigations as required.
• Always follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Provide support to the supervisor in any reasonable request relating to the laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Science based degree (preferably in Microbiology/ Biology)
• Experience working in a lab, preferably within food manufacturing or pharmaceuticals .
• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
