Job Summary
The Quality Data Management Tech is a Hybrid role between Data Management and Quality Inspector.
This individual will be responsible for the management of all quality related data, including creating and
controlling NCR’s and other Quality reports thru different types of forms, spreadsheets, and software.
This position is also responsible for performing all regular lab duties, including compression testing and
aggregate testing. The Quality Data Management Tech will support or fill in for other QC team members,
by providing various checks and inspections as needed. This position requires diligent compliance to
quality specifications and safety regulations. The ideal candidate would have significant experience in precast as a Quality Inspector, possessing strong computer skills with excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Create and control all data related to the NCR process and other Quality Reports with accuracy and
- proficiency
- Support or fill in for other Quality Inspectors in various shifts as needed including pre-pour, postpour,
- final inspections, concrete testing etc.
- Create, control and present statistical analysis reports for internal and external test results
- Create reports for project submittals
- Create and update Workflow Charts and Processes
- Perform and complete all daily lab requirements with respect to cylinders, compression testing and
- data entry
- Perform regular aggregate sampling and sieve testing as required by specification to ensure
- conformity
- Participate in Plant internal and external audits
- Note and report on work that does not meet requirements
- Data accuracy and control
- Proactively suggest improvements to current processes
- Communicate effectively with both staff and management
Technical Requirements
- Minimum one-year Computer systems and engineering tech diploma
- 2-year Civil or Construction Management Diploma, or equivalent experience in a Quality Control position
- Proficient Computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/shop drawings
- ACI Level 1
- PCI Level 1-2
