GENERAL FUNCTION: Performs a variety of independent testing functions and data quality review in support of the wholesale bank, private bank, business loan center, and credit risk. Findings are reported to senior and executive management.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensuresthatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide a high level of Assessment and testing of Key commercial credit processes, such as probability of default Ratings, to identify risk and ensure compliance with policy.
- Independently Manage multiple assignments and ongoing testing processes to ensure adherence to service level agreements and to deliver high quality results.
- Communicate testing results to the appropriate parties to ensure findings are beneficial for the Bancorp.
- work with management to design, Document, and Manage testing plans. Continually evaluate testing scopes for benefit and statistical relevancy.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with constituency that includes, among others, relationship managers, portfolio managers, credit officers, senior credit officers, risk reporting, and Executive management.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of credit analysis, Central credit Utility, and/or loan Review experience, preferably in the banking industry.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills and the Ability to Communicate with discretion and understanding when confidentiality is needed.
- proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products and other related PC programs. Possess the desire and Ability to learn mainframe applications, and automated data analysis tools and techniques.
- Must be able to work Collaboratively within the team and Independently Manage and execute multiple tasks/ projects in a dynamic work environment. strong organizational skills required.
- Must be results oriented and able to demonstrate sound judgment. Must apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions.
- Ability to work Independently and adhere to service level Agreements.
