We have a new opportunity for a QA Assistant - QC Analyst working within our Quality Control Analysis & Testing department. The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Conducting incoming & outgoing goods inspection.
- Equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Archiving incoming and outgoing inspection document records
- Investigating component quality and/or technical issues and where necessary propose corrective and preventative actions.
- Ensuring components and processes are Regulatory and Quality System Compliant.
- Ensuring that the department responds effectively to Product Change and New Product Development.
- Raising of NCR’s and working with Quality Engineer to provide a resolution.
- Undertaking QC team process improvement projects
- Creating SOP’s and associated documentation, training other staff members
The ideal candidate
- GCSE Maths and English ( Grade 4-9) or equivalent
- Experience of QC Checking processes – either raw material, in process or finished product
- Able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to multi task.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- To be self-motivated and ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to follow set policies and procedures
- To be flexible to the needs of the business
