Role responsibilities
- Follow test plans, liaise with team members to identify and articulate issues found and keep quality consistently high.
- Ensure our games run efficiently and bug free across a number of mobile platforms and devices.
- Measure the functionality of a game against its design specification.
- Investigate submitted bugs sent in by our players and articulate how to reproduce them.
- Work with Leads and Team Members to sign off on build quality ahead of releases.
- Help organize, and set up test sessions with other departments.
- Communicate bug statuses with developers throughout the studio.
- Communicate daily bug reports to Leads and Management during Stand-ups.
- Prioritise and categories bugs based on severity and frequency.
- Build up a deep understanding of the product and long term QA trends.
Major pluses
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Bugzilla or JIRA.
- Some design, programming or art skills.
- Worked with Agile based development processes.
- An interest in fashion.
- An interest in AR & VR technology.
- Logical and analytical problem solving skills.
- Able to work from our Nottingham office.
