Matrix Booking is an employee-owned SaaS company with an award-winning suite of resource management applications that enable smarter working in the public and private sectors in the UK, Europe, and the USA.
We provide room and desk booking solutions but also as part of a complete resource management solution including return to work solutions, visitor management, QR code scanning for staff and visitors, floor plan booking and more.

You’ll be supporting the development of a wide range of products and ensuring a high-quality product is provided for our end users. You’ll be reporting to the Director of Product Design and have an experienced team around you.
The development team are currently working remotely but required to attend team meetings in Swansea or Cardiff on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
What you’ll be doing
- Following and testing stories for different products (web app and mobile)
- Assisting with support bug fixes
- Document findings of tests
- · Finding and reporting bugs
- Regression testing for releases
- Attending daily scrum calls
- Attending sprint planning and review calls
- Attending story refinement calls
What you’ll have
Essential:
- You must be based in South Wales or able to commute to Swansea when required
- Experience in agile testing methodology
- Testing in mobile apps
- Cross browser testing
- Regression testing
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident – no problem raising an opinion, making recommendations
- Excellent knowledge of the wider Software Development Lifecycle
- Strong communication skills, e.g. when you write a bug report it's clear/unambiguous thus leaving little opportunity for misunderstanding
- Knowledge of bug reporting workflow and bug management
- 2 years of experience
Desirable:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Postman
- ISEB foundation
- Awareness of Automation – looking for someone who can support the automated process (Gherkin/Cucumber) – not necessarily required to write code.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
