JOB DESCRIPTION
Role: Social Media, Communications and Administration Assistant
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer and Operations Manager.
Contract Type: 12 months maternity cover.
Travel: Bedfordshire and Luton.
Pre-Requisite: Must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Purpose & Scope of the Job
To lead the social media, communications, and administrative tasks of Link to Change as directed.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
· Ensure that the aims and values of the charity are communicated to all staff, beneficiaries and other key stakeholders.
· Develop and implement Link to Change’s social media and communications strategy as directed by the CEO.
· Support the charities communication processes both internally and externally.
· Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
· Designing and implementing systems to contribute to the long-term strategy of the charity.
· Organise ideas and information to highlight the strategical significant elements in all communications.
· Creation and assistance with the collation of information for of all marketing and promotional material in line with the communications and fundraising strategies.
· Assisting with the growth and support of all fundraising aspects of the charity, including stewardship, funding applications and events.
· Support the management team in the organisation of fundraising and project activities.
· Assist in monitoring active marketing programmes and developing ways to improve all communications.
· Plan, create, publish and share new content daily that builds meaningful connections, brand awareness and encourages engagement.
· Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
· Work alongside the CEO to build relationships and trust in partners to develop Link to Change’s ambition and strategy.
· Assist with presentations and production of corporate documentation and information of a consistent high quality by assembling videos, slideshows, documents and other key materials.
· Assist in understanding competitor analysis, in line with the charity’s needs.
· Organisation, booking and marketing of all commercial training.
· Evaluate marketing activities using diagnosis skills, tracking and analysis to assess the results.
· Undertaking of a variety of administrative tasks to assist the CEO and Operations Manager with strategic development and operations, as well as office duties, such as stationary orders, health and safety, liaising with outside companies.
